🪴 Basic Caterpillar Rearing Tips:

• Foodplants: Best reared on fuchsia. Always use fresh, pesticide-free leaves and change daily.
• Housing: Use a well-ventilated container or mesh cage. Clean regularly to prevent mould.
• Humidity: Moderate humidity is ideal. Light misting is fine, but avoid damp conditions.
• Growth: Fast-growing and active. These caterpillars will need space and lots of fresh food.
• Pupation: Larvae will burrow into loose soil or substrate to pupate. Overwinter pupae in a cool, dry, frost-free place.
